POWER FAILURE CIRCUIT
Power failure 1: (Normal: High, Failure: Low).  Detected voltage failure for analog circuit [Connected to IC801 pin 52]
Power failure 2: (Normal: Low, Failure: High). Detected voltage failure for audio AMPP IC. [Connected to IC801 pin 53]
Power failure 3: (Normal: High, Failure: Low). Detected voltage failure for digital circuit. [Connected to IC801 pin 54]

Temperature Failure : (Normal: Low, Failure: High)  Detected temperature failure for Main Power Unit  [Connected to IC801 pin 57]
LED Flashing
When IC801 detects the Power Failure the LED will flash to indicate a power failure has occurred.  The type of failure detected as shown below will determine the number of flashes.  If power failure is detected 3 times, the set will enter the standby mode, and cannot be switched ON.  To reset the operating programs of the CPU, it is necessary to disconnect the AC cord for a short time.  When finishing the repair or stopping the Power Failure, the history of past failures can be checked.
TO SEE THE HISTORY
Enter service mode.
Select item number [355] POWER ERROR from the service adjustment data table.
If simultaneous failures have been detected, the sum of each data is displayed.  For example:
Power failures 1&2
01h + 10h = 11h (17)

After finishing service, reset the data of item No>355 with the < or > keys to ‘00h(0).

POWER CONNECTION
Connect a wire directly to the vehicle’s positive battery terminal, and install an appropriate fuse holder within 18" of the battery terminal. Do not install the fuse at this time. Route the wire to the amplifier’s location, and connect it to the amplifier’s positive (+12V) terminal. Be sure to use appropriate grommets whenever routing wires through the firewall or other sheet metal.  Failure to adequately protect the positive wire from potential damage may result in a vehicle fire. When you are done routing and connecting this wire to the battery and to the amplifier, you may install the fuse at the battery. The fuse value should be selected based on total
amplifier-current draw; see chart at right.
GROUND CONNECTION
Connect the amplifier’s Ground (GND) terminal to a solid point on the vehicle’s metal chassis, as close to the amplifier as possible.
Speaker connections should be made using a minimum of 16-gauge wire.
HIGH-LEVEL INPUT CONNECTIONS
The 7540a/7541a amplifiers are equipped with speaker-level inputs that allow you to add an amplifier to head units that do not have RCA line outputs. The speaker outputs for the source unit should be connected to the amplifier using the supplied connector (square four-wire plug). Remember to check for proper polarity.
When using the low-level or high-level inputs, the AUX outputs can be used to pass a full-range line-level signal to another amplifier.
The 7540a/7541a can be set up for stereo 4-channel, 3-channel or bridged 2-channel operation, as shown in Figures 7 through 9.
NOTE: For simplicity, Figures 7 through 9 do not show power, remote and input connections.
NOTE: Minimum speaker impedance for stereo operation is 2 ohms. Minimum speaker impedance for bridged operation is 4 ohms.

NOTE: "Bass Boost” only affects rear channels.

DS 25204 - SANYO (Canada) SERVICE MODE_EEPROM REPLACEMENT_ Initial DATA

SERVICE MODE & ADJUSTING METHODS
TO ENTER SERVICE MODE: While pressing the Menu key on the front control panel of the TV, re-connect the AC power cord.  The service menu display will appear
Press UP/DN key to select the desired service menu item, and use (+) / (-) key, or, number keys to adjust the data.

To exit service mode, press Menu key.
IC802 [EEPROM] replacement.
When this IC is replaced, CPU will automatically write the initial reference data into newly replaced memory IC, for basic TV operations.  However, the bus data should be checked and some bus data should be set up before attempting the service adjustments.

POWER FAILURE DETECTOR
This unit is equipped with a power failure detector function included in the CPU which checks for an abnormal condition in the chassis power supplies, including the power supply derived from the horizontal output transformer.
If, while the power is on, a failure is caused by any of the following that results in a low voltage supply, the CPU will turn the unit off in 1.5 seconds to prevent unnecessary damage.
  1. Failure within the power supply circuits.
  2. A short circuit in the load side from the power supply
  3. Stoppage of the horizontal output oscillator caused by the X-Radiation protection hold-down circuit
If while the power is off, the power is switched on and any of these failures remains uncorrected, the CPU will shut off the power within 3 seconds.  Check the following of the unit is turned off by power failure indicator.
  • Disconnect the AC power cord [120VAC line] for at least 10 seconds.
  • Connect a DC voltmeter to the following Test Points.
  • Press the power key and check for the proper voltage supplies.
  • If any of these voltages is low, the power failure detector should turn the unit off within 3 seconds.
  • Check all the circuits listed above.
This unit is equipped with a power surge protection feature included in the CPU.  If power failure occurs three times within 15 minutes, the CPU will automatically stop functioning to help to prevent secondary damage.  TV will not turn ON by pressing the power key.  To reset the operating programs within the CPU, disconnect the AC power cord for at least 10 seconds.

HOW TO REPLACE LAMP PANASONIC PT-D3500U - PT-D3500E – DLP PROJECTOR

Replacement lamp unit model No.: ET-LAD35 (single bulb) Rating: 300 W
Long-life lamp unit model No.: ET-LAD35L (single bulb) Rating: 160 W
Other lamps than specified above cannot be used. Be sure to use the specified lamp.

REPLACEMENT
Wait until the lamp is cooled sufficiently before replacing the lamp unit.
The lamp used for the light source has its due life. The life of light source lamp used in the main unit is 1500 hours
*1 (when lamp output is HIGH). However, it may happen that the lamp becomes dead (will not light) by the time of 1500 hours *1 depending on the characteristics of individual lamps and working conditions (lamps may reduce their life affected by the times of lighting and the intervals between previous lighting and next lighting). Therefore, it is strongly recommended for the user to keep a spare bulb. If your lamp unit is not replaced after 1300 hours *2 (with the lamp output set at “HIGH”), power supply will be turned off automatically at the time of 1 500 hours *1 entering a standby state. After 1500 hours *1 of initial lighting, power supply is turned off automatically about 10 minutes later, entering a standby state even if it is turned on again.
LAMP MONITOR INDICATION

## Be sure to follow steps 8 to 13 in ten minutes after turning on the projector because the projector is turned off in ten minutes if the RUNTIME indication is 1500h or more.
