AC Current Input Circuit
P801 is a connector for connecting AC Power. F801 is a fuse to protect all the circuit. AC input voltage is from 90v to 264V. R801 and R802 joined between two inputting main circuit to prevent from shock. L801 is used to clear up low frequency wave. C801 and C802 are used to discharge the waves that L801 produced. High frequency waves are damped by C801 and C802. D801 is a rectifier which composed of 4 build-in diodes, it inverts AC to DC.
High Voltage to Low Voltage Control Circuit C804 is used to smooth the wave from rectifier. IC802 is a highly integrated PWM controller.  When rectified DC high voltage is applied to the Vcc pin during start-up, the MOSFET Q804 is initially off, and the Vcc pin capacitor is charged. When the Vcc pin voltage reaches approximately 10V, the control circuitry is activated and the soft-start begins. The soft-start circuit gradually increases the duty cycle of the MOSFET from zero to the maximum value over approximately 4ms. If no external feedback/supply current is fed into the CS pin by the end of the soft-start, the current Set point will be above the fault level, FAULT flag is raised, if the FAULT duration exceeds 80ms, the output controller disable.
Resistor R808, R809, R810, R811 are for line over voltage shutdown(OVP) When PWM is turned off, the main current flow will be consumed through R804 and D802, This will prevent MOSFET Q804 from being damaged under large current impulse and voltage spike. D804 and C807 to provide internal Auxiliary voltage to Vcc pin during normal operation. Otherwise, error amplifier and feedback current input the CS pin for duty cycle control.
 DC_5V and DC_14V Output Circuit
For DC 5V, D805 is used to rectify the inducted current. R828 and C814 are used to store energy when current is reversed. The parts including C818, C822, C820,L803 are used to smooth the current waves.
For DC 14V, D803 is used to rectify the inducted current. R827 and C813 are used to store energy when current is reversed. The parts including C815, C817 and L802 are used to smooth the current waves.
Feedback and OVP Protect Circuit
Pin R of IC803 is supplied 2.5-v stable voltage. It connects to 5V and 14V output through R822, R823 and R824. R822, R823 and R824 are output sampling resistor. When the sampling voltage more than 2.5V or less than 2.5V, current of FB IC802 will change, this can change the voltage from T801.  OVP Protect Circuit: When output is overvoltage, the auxiliary winding voltage will be increased, when it reaches about 14V. Q803 is triggered. It makes the IC802 Pin 1 exceed 5V, and then the IC802 output will be disabled.
Q801, R816, R817 and ZD803 make up of dummy loading circuit. For start-up sequence, during 5V output take place high loading first, this dummy loading circuit operated to insure 14V not be increased.
InnoLux BV173 SMPS board schematic
Inverter circuit
14VDC provides the power for IC501; the control signals Brightness and ON/OFF come from I/F board. ON/OFF signal connect to pin8 of IC501 and makes IC501 enable. Brightness signal connect to pin7 of IC501 and regulates the panel brightness, R510 , R511, C507 make up a network of delaying time circuit . The striking frequency is determined by the external Resistor R505 pin5 of IC505and r516. The operation frequency is determined by the external Resistor R505 pin5 of IC505. the capacitor and resister connected to pin4 to set striking time and shunt down delay time. BURST MODE dimming pulse frequency and duty is regulated by I/F board.
The output drives, include square pulses output of pin14,12,11 to drive MOSFET U501, U502, and U501, U502 are N channel MOSFETs. U501 and U502 work as half-bridge topology. Two transformers are connected in parallel with each transformer driving two lamps in series. Turning each N-Channel MOSFET “on/off” complementarily, produces an alternating current through the transformer primary and secondary. The “on” duration of the switches determines the amount of energy delivered to the CCFLs.  The current flowing through CCFL is sensed and regulated through sense resistor R502, R543. The feedback voltage connected to Pin2 (ISEN), then compared with a internal reference voltage, resulting in PWM signal outputs to adjust output voltage.
Over Voltage Protection and over-current protection are monitored by the voltage on OV(Pin 1) and LI (Pin2) During normal operation , if a CCFL is damaged or removed ,the voltage at OV (Pin6) increases .Once the voltage at OV Pin exceeds 1.2V (OVPT Setting) the driver output duty cycle is regulated and the shutdown delay timer is activated. Once over the delay time the IC will shut down

CCA Adjustment Service Methods:
CCA Adjustment is needed after changing a DMD board or Main board
CCA : In DLP TV, even the same RGB color may differ depending on the light engine. CCA (Color Coordinate Adjustment) corrects the color to achieve the color accuracy. CCA performs color correction after measuring and inputting the current light engine's data on actual color coordinates for displayed Red, Green, Blue,Yellow,Cyan and White color patterns, using a color coordinate measuring equipment. At this moment, color correction is performed below.
1) This procedure is needed if the Main Board or DMD Board is changed.
2) Turn off power to put the unit into the STAND-BY mode.
3) In order to enter the Service Mode, press "Mute">"1">"8">"2">"Power" buttons on the Remote Control.
4) Select "Option" on the display of the Service mode menu
5) If the DMD PCB is changed, Press the
(Up or Down) button to move to Digital→DMD, then press ENTER to select
6) Then Press ENTER to save CCA information to the DMD board
7) If the Main PCB is changed, Press the
(Up or Down) button to move to DMD→Digital, then press ENTER to select.
8) Then Press ENTER to save CCA information to the Main board
Attention
Performing CCA is independent on current display's resolution and input signal type if you don't measure color coordinates data.
Measuring color coordinates data requires specific equipment not possessed by service per sonnel, that makes performing manual adjustment impossible. Adjusting CCA is applied to all the signal mode.
Don't change desired value because it will be harmful to the color of the SET.

Press the (Right) button until you see the CROSSHATCH PATTERN.Then, adjust the screen position, by holding both of the upper corners of the DMD board.
Even when those screws are loosened, the board does not separate it can be moved within the adjustable range because there are spring screws at the center holding it.
When adjusting the screen, it is better for two people to work together.
One person should adjust the picture position while the other person looks at the screen.
If only one person is performing this adjustment, back port should be removed, and image on the screen monitored through there.
The movement direction of the board and the picture are different.
- When it is tilted to the left, the screen tilts to the right.
- But, When the board is lifted upward, the screen lifted upward, too.
When the picture adjustment is completed:
First, tighten the two screws on the left of the DMD board and then slowly tighten the one screw on the bottom right.
Be careful not to touch the board while tightening the screws.
(When using an electric-powered screwdriver, be careful that the torque is not too high.)
Align the Focus
1. Remove the DMD FAN.
But don't disconnect connector
2. Turn the knob to find best focus at the screen the knob is black wheel under the heat sink.
Noise:
Internal noise may be caused by a foreign substance on the fan or driving device.
For a DLP TV, the lamp fan, DMD board fan and color wheel are vulnerable to noise. Sometimes the connector wire around the lamp or DMD fan makes contact with the fan, while the color wheel is protected inside the module and cannot make contact with any nearby wires. However the color wheel sensor or the drive motor may cause noise by making contact with the color wheel.
As the color wheel uses an air bearing system, it has a very slight possibility of creating internal noise.
When irregular noise occurs for no particular reason, check the inside of the TV for any foreign substances.
The DLP projection TV may cause noise as the physical screen is empty inside, causing a resonance to a particular frequency.
Thus a low vibration is not a malfunction.
Any 'creaking' noise is mostly from the structure of the device itself. A short, harsh noise may occur from a distortion or malformation due to thermal expansion between the metal joints, screws and loaded parts, respectively. Any intermittent 'creaking' noise can be removed by loosening the screws.
4. A black screen with the lamp on: Replace the DMD board.
5. Line Pattern: Regular line patterns occur vertically or horizontally: Replace the DMD board.
6. Voice Distortion: Replace the main or rear board.
7. Outside Light: This is not a product malfunction, but a possible installation or human error. This occurs when the projected light from the surrounding illumination reflects onto the screen. This disappears as the TV starts operating and the TV lamp gets brighter. However, you can avoid outside light by changing the position of the TV or the installation angle.
Decreasing the illumination or changing the indoor lighting may work.
8. Screen Flip-over
Enter Factory mode in DDP3021 and perform H-Flip (flip horizontally) and V-Flip (flip vertically).
The screen will flip over horizontally or vertically.
Other Screen Errors:
Video Circuit Error Checking
Basics
> The DDP3021 on the DMD board has a feature to display internal test patterns.
> SDP62, which is an end port in the digital board, has a feature to display internal test patterns.
> The rear board is the first output and the main board is the second one, followed by DMD, which is the final one.
Diagnosis By Module
1. Access Service Mode
(In Standby mode, press "Mute", "1", "8", "2" and "Power" to turn the screen on and enter service mode)
2. Check if there is an error in the DMD board
DDP3021 > TEST PATTERN > Press the right arrow key:
Options of FULL WHITE, BLACK, RED, GREEN and BLUE PATTERN are displayed on the screen.
If "Pattern" does not appear, this is a DMD board error.
3. Check if there is an error in the main board before the DMD.
When the DMD board has been determined to be error free based on the test patterns:
FACTORY MODE > SDP62 > TEST PATTERN normal display: no error in the main board.
If "Pattern" does not appear, you have to check a rear board first, and check a DMD Board second, next check a main Board.
