To enter the service mode to the sets using [5W97-3CD0], IC as main system control, and [LA 76810B], as Chroma Proecessor IC.
* Press [Vol--ve] button to set volume to [00].
** Press 'Rep" button on the remote control and release it.
*** Keep pressing [VOL+ & VOL--ve] on the front panel of the TV.
**** Press 'REP" button on the remote control again, and the screen will display 'FACTORY STATUS'
In these sets, "FACTORY STATUS" "BLCK & WHITE BALANCE" "PRESET STATUS" "SETUP STATUS" cannot change data value.
To exit from the service mode, preset the 'SETUP STATUS" and repeat all above, and exit.
To call an item for adjustment, use CH= & CH--ve] buttons on the remote control.
To adjust the data value of the selected item, use "VOL+ & VOL--ve] buttions.
