BLINKING CODES FOR SONY FLAT PANEL TVs [KLV SERIES]


SONY - KLV-27HR3   REMOTE COMMANDER [RM-Y1108]

The identification errors within WA 1 chassis is triggered in one of two ways.
1. Busy.
2. Device failure to respond Bus [serial data clock].
In the event of one of this situations arising the software will first try to release the Bus, if busy.
Failure to do so will report with continuous flashing of standby light, and will communicate with each device in turn to establish if a device is faulty.  If a device is found to be faulty the relevant device number will be displayed through the LED. [Series of flashes which must be counted].

2 Blinks => A Board Error.
3 Blinks => B Board Error.
4 Blinks => Panel Error.
5 Blinks => EEPROM Error.
6 Blinks => IIC Bus error.
9 Blinks => Tuner Error.
10 Blinks => Sound Processor Error.
11 Blinks => Panel TV-SVP Error.
12 Blinks => CXA 2163 Error.
13 Blinks => Port Expander 1 Error.
14 Blinks => Port Expander 2 Error.
