Make sure that the B+ voltage on board is correct. Connect a digital voltmeter to the cathode of D6550 and measure the voltage to [95VDC] with respect to chassis ground.
Enter service mode
To enter service alignment mode, turn the receiver ON, and press [[1 => 6 => 2 => 5 => 9 => 6 => MENU] buttons on the remote control, without allowing time out between key entries. The first menu is the main menu. There are four selections in this main menu.
At any time within the menus, if the exit item is selected, the receiver will display the previous menu.
Press Menu button for next menu. Press adjust Right/Left to either turn selection On/Off or to proceed to the next menu. Press the adjust Up/Down arrows to make a selection.
