FAULT:


15V down SOS.  Defective boards to suspect are: P, D, A, SS Board.


How to locate the exact faulty board:

• Disconnect [CN A5, A6 7 A7] on A board.  Does the TV turns ON by itsef?  If yes; "A" board is defective.
• If NO; Unplug the TV, reconnect CN A5, A6 & A7 back to "A" baord. Disconnect CN SC20 & SC2 to isolate the 'SC" board. Turn the unit ON.  Does the Power LED stay ON? If yes, 'SC" board is faulty and should be replaced.
• If NO; Unplug the TV, reconnect SC20 and SC2, and disconnect CN P1, SS11 & SS23, to isolate the 'SS' board.  Remove the jumper at CN SS34 and install it across pin '8' and '10' of connector 'P12'.  Turn the unit ON.  Does the Power LED stay ON? If yes, replace "SS" board.  It is faulty. 
• If NO; Unplug the TV, reconnect CN P12, SS11 & SS23.  Turn the unit ON.  Measure the [15VDC] output at CN P25 pin '1' or '2' before TV shut down?  If yes replace 'D' board.  It is faulty.
• If No; unplug the TV.  disconnect CN P25.  Is pin '1' or '2' of CN P25 shorted to ground?  If yes, replace 'P' board.  It is faulty. 
• If No; replace "D" board.
