SANYO - LCD 27XL2 LCD 27XL2B HOW TO ENTER SERVICE MODE


TO ENTER SERVICE MODE.  [Remote Control:  JXMTF 1AV0U10B30302]
  • Press and Hold "Sound" button on the remote control, and then press "Channel Dn" button on the control panel of the TV.
  • The Main Menu of Service will be displayed.

  • Press Cursor Up or Dn button on the remote control, and press the "Volume (+)" button to enter the Sub-Menu.
  • Select Service Item by pressing Cursor Up or Dn , and change the data value by pressing "Volume (+)" or ( - ) button.
  • To return to Main Menu, press 'Menu" button.
  • To "Exit" from Service Mode [Press "Menu" button repeatedly or Turn Off the set by pressing the Power ON/OFF button
TO INITIALIZE MEMORY IC
  • To initialize memory IC [IC802], press and Hold "Image" button on the remote control, then press the 'Channel Dn" button on the Front Panel of the TV set and then turn the Main Switch OFF and ON.  The initialization is now completed.   When initialized the memory IC, all of the setting data (option data and service adjustment data) stored in the IC are reset to the default value.  It is necessary to set the option settings and readjust the service adjustments, and to re-tune all the channels.
PROTECTION CIRCUIT
  • This TV set has a built in power supply protection circuit.  It is provided to protect the TV set in case of a power supply circuit malfunctions.  When something abnormally occurs during TV reception, the TV goes to Standby mode.  [When operating in Protection Circuit, the Stand-by and Power Indicator will blink.  
RELEASING THE PROTECTIVE CIRCUIT AND RESTORING POWER SUPPLY
  • To release the protective circuit and restore power supply, disconnect AC cord for a short time.   This will work only if the power supply trouble was temporarily.  If there is permanent trouble such as damaged circuit, power cannot be restored and the circuit will have to be repaired or replaced.
