TOOLS

• To update use this special RS232 cable.

• This RS232 cable includes a 9-pin D-Sub Female, a 3.5mm Stereo Earphone Plug and 3 wires.

UPDATE STEPS

• Prepare a PC, and install update software.

1. Install 'GPROBE5.0 
2. Copy GM1601FW file document to "C:\"
3. Copy three files of GF to chipdb file document.
4. Use "batch C:\gm1601fw\ISP\batch\FlashRom_7.txt" command.

• Connect the cable.
• Connect the 9 pin D-Sub Female end to computer, and connect the stereo earphone plug end to RS232 terminal on the back panel of the PDP.
• Run the application GPROB5.0, then input command, "batch C:\gm1601fw\ISP\batch\Flashrom_7.txt"
• Turn On the PDP, and updating process begins.  [Warning:  Must not turn OFF the PDP in the updating process]
• When updating finishes, it will display successfully.
• Turn Off the TV, and then turn it ON again.

SERVICE MODE

• Using [balance] + [0532]:  Press 'Balance' item, and then press number [0, 5, 3, 2] button AT-ONCE.
• Service Mode Menu includes; White Balance, Voice Settings, Picture Settings, Options & Auto Color.
