LCD MODULE DEFECT CRITERION



    In some cases a panel may have defective cells that cannot be controlled.  These defective cells can be categorized into three types:

  1. Non - Lighting Cell Defect:  Defect in which the cell is always Off.
  2. Non-Extinguishing Cell Defect:  Defect in which the Cells are always On.
  3. Flickering Cell Defect:  Defect in which the cell is flickering.

Zone-A: 2 and less
Zone – B: 8 or less

Regardless of A and B zone
Non-Exitithgushing Cell defect
Zone – A:  Zero
Zone-B: 2 and less
-Distance between NLs is 15mm
-Distance between NL and NEF is 15mm
-Distance between NEF is 30mm

Flickering cell defect
Zona-A: Zero
Zone-B: 2 and less


Total defect
Total number of cell defects in Zone A and Zone B is 8 and less
Note:
NL = Non Lighting Cell defect.
NEF = Non Extinguishing effect.
And  Flickering cell defect.
