MOTOR DOES NOT OPERATE
Operation:
- Display board: Press the speed key. The display shows the speed value. The display CPU sends the motor signal to the drive board to control motor speed.
- Inductor [220V]: The inductor is only used on 220V products. The inductor stabilized drive board AC voltage and transmits it to the motor circuit on the drive board.
- 13Pin Cable: The display board signal travels this cable to the drive board.
- Drive Board: After processing the motor speed signal, the drive board emits voltage to the motor, making motor to rotate.
- Servo Motor: The motor operates according to the voltage it receives. The motor rotation makes the walk belt to move.
- Encoder: The encoder translates motor direction and speed into signals.
Circumstance of malfunction
Press 'Speed 'Up' or "Dn' key. The walk belt does not rotate.
The drive board does not emit voltage to the motor.
Motor malfunction prevents its operation.
The encoder cable is not inserted properly or is defective.
When motor operates in reverse for up to 0.3 seconds, and speed exceeds 0.4KPH.
Troubleshooting
- Press down to insert the display IC.
- Inspect cable connections at the display and drive board.
- Inspect data cable connections at the display and drive boards.
- Inspect whether the data cable is pinched or crimped or cut.
- Replace the data cable as a test.
- Re-connect the Inductor wire connections.
- Reinsert CON-6.
- Inspect all wire connections on the drive board and the inductor [220].
- Replace the drive board as a test.
- Inspect CON-2 connection on the drive board.
- Replace the motor as a test.
