SONY - KF50SX200 KF50SX200K KF50SX200U SERVICE MODE AND ADJUSTMENTS



TO ENTER SERVICE MODE AND ADJUSTMENTS [REMOTE CONTROL RM-905]

 SELECTION OF MODE BETWEEN [PAL] & [NTSC]

  • PAL mode:  Enter PAL signal with colour burst.
  • NTSC mode:  Enter NTSC signal with colour burst. {Video Input only}.
SELECTION OF PICTURE MODE
  1. Press [Green] button on the remote control.
  2. Press [Up or Dn] button in the joystick to select picture mode, and press "OK" button.  At this time, normal screen comes back.  {In the TT mode, the menu is switched to Service Menu}.
DISPLAYING MULTI PIP MODE
  • Press [Yellow] button on the remote control.
  • Press it again.  Normal screen come back.  
  • In the TT mode, the menu is switched to Service Menu}
DISPLAYING PAP MODE
  1. Press [Picture mode button] on the remote control.  
  2. Press it once more, the normal screen come back.  
  3. In TT mode, the menu is switched to Service Menu.
TO ENTER "TT" MODE 
  1. Turn ON the main power switch to place the set in standby.  [LED will light in Red].
  2. Press [OSD => 5 => (Volume +) => TV Mode] in sequence by remote control.
  3. "TT-----" will appear on the top right corner of the screen, indicating that the set is in Service Mode.
  4. To "Exit" from "TT" mode, press either (TV Mode) button or"(0)" + "(0)" button.
TO ENTER SERVICE MENU
  • Select "TT' mode first as described above.
  • Press "Menu" button on the remote control once.
  • Normal menu screen will appear
  • Pressing it once more, and a screen with following service menu will appear.

  • Press [Up or Dn] key on the joystick to select the desired item, and press ( > ) key to enter the selected item.
  • Press [Up or Dn] key on the joystick to change the data of each item, and press "OK' button to write the changed data into memory. (Except Projector Engine Mode).
  • To return from each item, press ( < ) key on the joystick, or to return the 'TT" mode, press the "Menu" button. (Except Projector Engine Mode).
PROJECTOR ENGINE ADJUSTMENT
  1. Enter the Service Menu, and select [Device Register Setting] => (Projector Engine).
  2. Press "1" or "4" button on the remote control to select the item.
  3. Press "3" or "6" button on the remote control to change the data value.
