LIGHT HOUSING TEMPERATURE
If the temperature on the surface above the light housing becomes excessive (150 Degree centigrade), a thermal sensor, or breaker will open in the primary and interrupt the AC path to the main power supply. This will cause the Main power Supply to cease operation and an error code will be exhibited on the power LEDs. This error code is not shown in the blinking LED error code table but if it occurs, the Green Led will be OFF, and the Red LED will be on for three seconds and off for three seconds, then repeat. This breaker or sensor works like a conventional circuit breaker. After it interrupts, the circuit due to excessive temperature, pressing the 'Reset' button located between the incoming leads must reset it.
DMD & EXHAUST TEMPERATURE SHUTDOWNS.
In addition to lamp enclosure, DMD exhaust temperatures are monitored well. These temperatures can be viewed by placing the unit in the service mode. They are labeled Thermo-1 & Thermo-2 on the screen and the temperatures are measured in Celsius. The normal range for Thermo-1 starts about 28Degree C, and normally increases to about 33DegreeC. This of course depends to same extent to on the surrounding ambient temperature. If either of these temperatures should become excessive, the unit will shut down and the LEDs will exhibit the blink code shown in the error code chart labelled 'temperature sensor'. The unit cannot start again until the temperature condition has been corrected.
