DOES NOT RECORD AUDIO TO DISC
Is there an output signal to speaker terminals?
If not, there is a problem in TV circuit.
If there is audio signal to speaker terminals,
Check the Power Supply to DVD RAM drive on the AP board. Connector PAP-7, Pin-1 should have [12V].
If not good, perform a Primary Power Supply check.
If [12V] stated above is OK, check the Audio Switch IC {IC3102} on the 'A' board. Left channel out on Pin-27 and Right channel out Pin-28.
If not good, replce {IC3102}.
If OK, check Pin-1 [DVD Left In] and Pin-3 [DVD Right In] on connector PA-10 on the 'A' board.
If not good, check the signal line between PA-10 & IC3102.
If OK, check Pin-48 & 50 for analog audio in on the connector P7402 on DVD RD board.
If not good, check the audio interface IC {IC4001} and surrounding circuitry on the DVD RD board.
If Ok, check DVD M8 Digital Board and DVD-RAM Drive.
