SELF CHECK

TO ENTER SERVICE MODE

While pressing ( - / + ) button on the TV panel, press [0] on the remote control for "Thre times within 2 seconds".

To 'Exit' service mode, press 'Exit' button on the remote control.

KEY COMMANDS

  • Press 3/4 button to change the adjustment values or function.
  • Press 1/2 button to step Up/Dn through the functions and adjustments.
  • Press the numerical button 'Volume ( + / - ) to change the option item.
  • Press "OK" button after each adjustment has been made to store the required values.

PANASONIC VIERA - TCL37S1 TCL32S1 SERVICE MODE - DEFAULT DATA

TO ENTER SERVICE MODE
While pressing {Volume ( - )} button on the TV, press the [INFO] button on the remote control "three times, within 2 seconds".  Action should be very fast.
SERVICE MODE WILL BE DISPLAYED.

  • [1] Button >> Main items selection in forward direction.
  • [2] button >> Main items selection in reverse direction.
  • [3] button >> Sub items selection in forward direction.
  • [4] button >> Sub items selection in reverse direction.
  • {Vol} button >> Value of sub-item change in forward (+) or reverse ( - ) direction.
CONTENTS OF ADJUSTMENT MODE.
Value is shown as hexadecimal number.  
Preset value differs depending on models.
After entering service mode, take note of the value of each item before starting any adjustments.

PANASONIC TV33V9 - SERVICE MODE BR1D CHASSIS



TO ENTER SERVICE MODE

  • Select CATV channel [124].
  • Adjust the 'Volume to minimum' by the front panel control of the set.
  • Set the "Sleep Timer" to 30 minutes.
  • To switch between DAC's (B0 --> B1 ...... C0 --> C1), press 'Power'.
  • To switch within the DAC, use 'Ch Up | Ch Dn buttons on the remote control.
  • To change the data value to selected item, use 'Vol Up | Vol Dn buttons.
  • To access the contents of the memory addresses, select DAC "S0" and press the 'Mute" button on the remote control for '3' seconds.
  • Use Vol (+) | Vol ( - ) buttons to increment or decrements the address, and Volume Up | Volume Dn buttons to change the data values.
  • Press [Action & Power] buttons simultaneously on the front panel of the TV for '3' seconds to 'EXIT" service mode.

PANASONIC VIERA TC37LX80 SERVICE MODE - LED BLINKING CODES



SELF DIAGNOSIS FUNCTION

When defects are reported, as Power failure occasionally or Video or Audio fails from time to time, and cannot be confirmed at the time of repair, the self diagnosis function can be used to confirm these occurrences and indicate or limit the scope of the circuit to be examined.  

Some programmed channels, channels caption data and some other settings or user setting may return to factory settings.

TO ACCESS THE AIR SELF-DIAGNOSIS MODE

  • With TV mode RF nevertheless, simultaneously press "Volume (-)" button on the 'TV' and 'Menu' button on the Remote control.
  • To 'Exit' this mode, switch OFF the TV.
TO ENTER SERVICE MODE
  1. Select channel [99].
  2. Set Timer for [30] minutes.
  3. Press (Recall) button on the remote control, and (Down) button at the front panel of the TV.  [do not forget to press "Function" panel of the device before pressing the 'Down'.
  4. Press "Red" button on the remote control to make adjustments.
METHOD OF SERVICE CO2
  1. Enter into service mode.
  2. Select "CEC Check" and press the 'Hold' button on the remote control to enter the service mode-2.
METHOD OF SELF DIAGNOSIS
  • Press the "Timer" button on the remote control and 'Down' panel of the TV.
  • Press "Power" on the remote control to 'Exit'.
FUNCTION OF WAY HOTEL
  • Press the 'Down' panel of the TV while pressing [TV/AV, TV/AV] on the remote control.
  • Press the [MENU,MENU] on the remote control to 'Exit' Hotel Mode function.
COMMAND BUTTONS [ SERVICE -1]
  1. Press the "Green/Red" to move between functions.
  2. Press 'Yellow/Blue" to change data value.
  3. Press [OK] button after each adjustment to store the new adjusted value in memory.
COMMAND BUTTONS -SERVICE-2]
  • Press "Red/Green" to select.
  • Press [1] of [2] to select the 'bit'
  • Press (+/-) or (Up/Dn) to change the bit '0' or '1'.
  • Press [OK] button after each adjustment to record the new value into memory.
LED BLINKING CODES

When there is an abnormality in the unit, the protection circuit will reset the unit to standby mode.  
At this time, the bad block can be identified by the number of times the Power LED flashes on the front panel of the unit.
