HOW TO OPEN - AOC2241PA 22" LCD MONITOR

DISASSEMBLE PROCEDURE

> Lay down the monitor on the EPE pad (Panel side towards to us), then prize up the decoration piece of front frame use fixture.

> Use hand to draw the decoration piece to take the top of it apart from the block slot of front frame. Use the same method to take apart the other side.

> After the top of the decoration piece comes out from the front frame block slot, then detrude the bottom of the decoration piece horizontally.

> Take off the screws (A.B. C.D).

> Overturn the monitor, there are blocks fix the frame and iron plate, so should use hand draw the frame to apart them.

> Take off the screws and the USB pc.

> Break off the block on the key pc cover to take off the key pc, and then draw the key pc PIN.

> Take off the back cover, according to the order of A. B. C. D to take down, if there is defect of main pc, should take off the F six-angle first.

> Take off the screw which used to fix the iron plate and Panel, and take apart the iron plate.

According to the different defective area, take off the screws to get the relevant part to maintain.

SOFTWARE DOWNLOAD

1 Connect JIG to P004 of Digital Board.

2 Connect SCL line of JIG Switch to Ground.

3 Turn on JIG and supply 6V to Digital Board. Terminate the SCL of clause (2) by using Switch.

4 After termination of SCL line, wait for 3 second.

5 Execute ‘vct69xyp_main_graphic.vi2c’ program.

6 Click the TVT button.

7 Double click right check box of ‘Boot loader Version‘ line, and then check to change to 40 from 0

8 After checking ‘40’, Click the Erase Flash button.

9 Double click ‘Edit Window’

10 Click the file select button of Name to select file.

11 Select necessary file.

12 Download the file with ‘OK’ button.

13 Check download process (about 30~40 sec.)

The various versions of theTDA935X/6X/8X PS/N2 series combine the functions of a TV signal processor together with a Controller and US Closed Caption decoder. Most versions have a Teletext decoder on board. The Teletext decoder has an internal RAM memory for 1or 10 page text. The ICs are intended to be used in economy television receivers with 90 and 110 picture tubes. The ICs have supply voltages of 8 V and 3.3 V and they are mounted in S-DIP envelope with 64 pins.

Supply Voltage Adjustment

Caution: +B voltage has close relation to high voltage. To prevent X-ray radiation, set +B voltage to the rated voltage.

Make sure that the supply voltage is within the range of the rated value.

Connect a digital voltmeter to the +B voltage output terminal of the TV set. Power on the TV and set the brightness and sub-brightness to minimum.

Regulate voltage adjustment components on the power PCB to make the voltmeter read 115±1V.

SERVICE MODE

* Set the volume to 0.

* Then press and hold the MUTE button on the remote control, and press the MENU button on the TV to enter the SERVICE mode. (In this case, the S mode cannot be stored in the EEPROM. 
* To exit from the S mode, turn off the TV set)

* After entering the S mode, Red “S”is displayed on the upper centre of the screen and MENU-1 is default. Use the POS+/- buttons to highlight an adjustment and the VOL+/- buttons to adjust it. The adjusted data are immediately output and stored in the EEPROM.

* To write in logo, use the ▲/▼ ↑buttons to highlight an adjustment and the ◄/► buttons to adjust.

Caution: The user service mode adjustment can be changed only when service personnel adjust the whole set data during servicing. As the control data have dramatic effects on functions and performance of the TV, service personnel should not tell user how to enter the SERVICE mode to avoid improper data settings.

SONY VGN-C SERIES PCs - HOW TO REMOVE KEYBOARD AND PALM-REST

KEYBOARD REMOVAL

* Remove the screw.

** Release the 4 keyboard clips

*** Rotate the keyboard towards the front of the system.

**** Disconnect the keyboard cable; and remove.

PALM-REST REMOVAL

* Remove the 11 screws from the bottom of the unit. (Note the three screws underneath the odd bay are shorter)

** Disconnect the speaker cable, power switch cable and the touch-pad cable.  Remove the 3 screws. [Note that one is significantly longer than the rest]

*** Lift the palm-rest up; gently releasing the de-tents.
