How to recognize the T’Con defects
The T-Con Board is the smallest board found inside the LCD TV and is found in LCD TV's only.
The function of T-con board is to control logic signal of gate and source for driving TFT LCD. The T-Con Board ‘Timing Control Board’ is sometimes referred to other names, such as ‘Controller Board’ or ‘Control Board’.
Common faults are:
White Display, No display, Double image, Display distortion (black and white vertical bars on the screen).
Multiple vertical/horizontal lines across the screen.
* Vertical blocks, horizontal blocks or combination of both.
* Color problem.
* Picture noise.
Assure
that the fault is with real T’Con board, and not the display panel.
Check
if the picture problem is variable or static.

Lines are moving or blinking or staying on some area of the picture.

Picture noise is keeping move down and no changing pattern.
C]
The color picture problem will appear immediately or it is getting more visible
in short time. Also, it can appear from
normal picture continuously to picture problem in a short time.

Vertical block is at the same place, but colored lines within this block can be
moving or blinking.

How to replace/repair the T’Con
If
the T’Con board has the Heat sink, you should detach it from the old T’Con and
to add the new T’Con again.
