Sharp HT-SB200 - SOUND BAR SYSTEM – Error codes – circuit diagram – exploded view

When you fail to perform operations properly, the following messages are displayed on the speaker.
E1 – E2  or  E3.
Means: Malfunction of the surround circuit. Place the speaker away from noise source and plug the AC power lead into another wall socket. (*)
[(*): Should the same message appear even if the speaker is unplugged and plugged in or is set to the stand-by mode and on again, contact your local dealer where you purchased the speaker.]
Power indicator (blinks red)
When the protection circuit of the amplifier is activated.
SYMPTOM: Audio Mutes at random for less than a second.
CAUSE: Timing errors in error monitoring of DSP IC.
ACTION: Check operating Software version following the steps below. If displayed version indicates that the version is less than- b2-> 0u-> 0 then replace the Main CPU IC604.
IC 604 => Main CPU =>  RH-iXA266AW00
1. Turn ON the mains supply to the unit.
2. Press and Hold the SURROUND button and the ON/STAND-BY button.
3. Display displays “CL”
4. Keep holding down the ON/STAND-BY button and now press the VOL+ button.
5. The display should now in sequence the current version.
AC/DC adapter part number change.

Test Mode
1. Enter the Test Mode version display
While pressing down ON/STANDBY and VOL UP button, Switch ON AC supply.
Version will be display on 7 segment as below:-
b2 --> ** --> O
b2 = Model name, ( SB200 )
** = Software version no.
O = Destination code ( Others )
Enter the Test Mode version display
After enter Test Mode version display, Press VOL UP button.
1. All SOUND MODE LED will light ON

Exit the Test Mode
While in Test Mode function, Press ON/STANDBY button to exit.

Error Code Description.
E1 => Communication error between Micom and WM877 => Unplug AC cord and turn power ON again.
E2 => Communication error between Micom and NJU-26040  => Check line connected between Micom and corresponding IC.
E3 => Communication error between Micom and STA333.
System Protection indicator
In case abnormal power detection has occurred, the unit will automatically enter to stand-by mode ON/STANDBY LED will be flashing.
Unit enter Protect mode when irregular process occur on power supply line.
