HOW TO ENTER SERVICE MODE MENU TO PANASONIC TVs


*  Press and Hold Down [Volume -ve] button on the front panel of the TV set.
** Press "RECALL" button on the remote control three times.  The service menu window will be displayed.

*** To navigate Main Menu items, use digit buttons [1] & [2], on the remote control.
**** To navigate Sub Menu items, use digit buttons [3] & [4], on the remote control.
***** To adjust the data value to selected item, use [Volume+ve & Vol-ve] buttons on the remote control.

****** Switch OFF the set by its front panel Power Switch, to store the adjusted value to memory, and to exit from service mode.

NB: Never enter to this service menu window and adjust the values stored there, without proper knoledge about what are you going to do.  Improper adjustments might make the TV irreparable.
Using remote control.
Press the "Menu" button.
Set "Antenna A" to 'Cable'.
Enter Timer Menu, and set sleep timer to 30 minutes.
Press [OK] button Twice to exit menus.
Press and Hold the [Volume -ve] button on the front panel of the TV.
[CHK] will be displayed on the top left corner of the screen, followed by five letters/numbers; which are the cumulative hours in Hex numbers.  While [CHK] is displayed press [OK]&[Vol+] buttons 'On the TV' simultaneously to toggle between modes.

[CHK] color in red indicates serviceman, and Yellow [CHK] for aging. Press Power button on the remote, to select on of 6 serviceman adjustment modes.
1. MTS adjustment.
2. Clock adjustment.
3. Video adjustment.
4. HDEF adjustment.
5. VDEF adjustment.
6. DAF adjustment.
7. Other adjustments.
# Press (CH+) & (CH-) buttons on the remote control, to call an item to adjust.
# Press (VOL+) (VOL-) buttons on the remote control, to adjust the data value to selected item.
Press POWER button on the front panel of the TV to OFF, to exit the service menu.
