See this video clip. Although the 1/6 part of the screen at the top right displays 'Grains' (Nose signal); all the other part have vertical lines. There is a crack at the top left side of the screen, so there is no display at all. The fault here is due the defect to the LCD panel itself, as it is cracked.There is an other possibility too, for this kind of fault. This type of fault can be due to a defective T'Con board. So, when you see this kind of fault to LCD TVs; (irrespective of its Brand and Screen size); must first check and detect the part; which causes the fault, before replacing the component/s.
