How to disassemble Toshiba 23HLV87 LCD TV/DVD COMBINATION

WHEN REPLACING DVD DECK
Before removing Pick Up PCB and DVD PCB connector, the short circuit the position shown in Fig, using a soldering iron. If you remove the DVD Deck with no soldering, the Laser may be damaged.
When installing the DVD Deck
Remove all the soldering on the short circuit position after the connection of Pick Up PCB and DVD PCB connector.
Use the Lead Free solder.
Manual soldering conditions
Soldering temperature: 350+5oC
Soldering time: Within 2 seconds
Soldering combination: Sn-3.0Ag-0.5Cu
When Soldering/Removing of solder, use the draw in equipment over the Pick Up Unit to keep the Flux smoke away from it.

DISASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

REMOVAL OF MECHANICAL PARTS AND P.C. BOARDS

BACK COVER

Unlock the 2 supports .
Remove the Back Cover in the direction of arrow.

HINGE ASS'Y

Remove the 4 screws (1) .

Remove the Stand in the direction of arrow (A).
Remove the 4 screws (2) .
Remove the Angle Stand in the direction of arrow (B).
Remove the 4 screws .
Remove the Hinge Ass'y in the direction of arrow (C).

BACK PANEL

Remove the 9 screws.

Disconnect the following connector: (AH302209).

Remove the Back panel in the direction of arrow.

HANDLE BRACKET

Remove the 4 screws.

Remove the Handle bracket in the direction of arrow.

DECODER PCB AND DVD ASS’Y

Disconnect the following connector: (AH302210,

AH302211,AH302213,AH302217,AH302218).

Remove the 4 screws (1)

Remove the Decoder PCB in the direction of arrow (A).

Remove the 4 screws (2)

Remove the DVD ass’y in the direction of arrow (B).

BACK PLATE B AND BACK PLATE C AND MAIN PCB

Remove the 8 screws (1) .
Remove the Back plate B and Back plate C in the
direction of arrow (A).
Disconnect the following connector: (AH302208, AH302209,AH302212,AH302213,AH302214).
Remove the 4 screws (2)
Remove the Main PCB in the direction of arrow (B)
