HOW TO ENTER SERVICE MODE TO SAMSUNG -CB - CS&CZ SERIES crt TVs



FACTORY MODE
  • Do not attempt these adjustments in the Video mode.
  • The Factory Mode Adjustments are necessary when either EEPROM  or CRT is replaced.
  • Do not tamper with the [Adjustment Screen]  of the factory mode menu.  
AFTER EEPROM REPLACEMNT
  • After EEPROM is replaced, all adjustment data revert to initial values.  You have to reprogram these data values. If the EEPROM  or CRT is replaced, set (PVA) to [40], and set (SC) as follows.
  • 14" => 0
  • 20" => 9
  • 21" => 9
FACTORY/SERVICE MODE
  • Display =>Factory
  • Standby => Display => Menu => Mute => Power On.
The service factory message will be displayed
  • The service mode has four components.  Adjust, Option and Reset.
  • Access the adjustment mode by pressing the Volume keys.  Data values can be changed by using Up & DN keys.

 Dn or Up keys.

To exit from service mode, press either Factory or Power Off key

  1. SCT = SUB CONTRAST
  2. SBT = SUB BRIGHTNESS
  3. BLR = BLACK LEVEL OFFSET RED
  4. BLB = BLACK LEVEL OFFSET BLUE
  5. RG = RED GAIN
  6. GG = GREEN GAIN
  7. BG = BLUE GAIN
  8. VSL = VERTICAL SLOPE
  9. VS = VERTICAL SHIFT
  10. VA = VERTICAL AMPLITUDE [HEIGHT]
  11. HS = HORIZONTAL SHIFT
  12. SC = S-CORRECTION
  13. CDL = CATHODE DRIVE LEVEL
  14. STT = SUB TINT
  15. SSP = SUB SHARPNESS
  16. PDL = PAL DELAY
  17. NTL = NTSC DELAY
  18. PST = PAL SUB COLOR
  19. NSR = NTSC SUB COLOR
  20. AGC = AUTOMATIC GAIN CONTROL
  21. VOL = VOLUME PRESETTING
  22. LCP = SECAM-L VISON IF
  23. TXP = TTX POSITION
PVS,PVA & PHS parameters must be aligned using the 50Hz vertical field rates.
