TATUNG C-SERIES WITH [X] BUTTON.
The Tatung C series TVs are equpped with Child Lock which is quiet often set ON to prevent any accedential adjustments being made. Therefore, the child lock must be disabled fefore any TV Tuning can take place.
DISABLING CHILD LOCK
* Switch the TV OFF, using the front panel ON/OFF switch.
** Press and Hold down [P+] button on the front panel of the TV, while switching the set ON by its front panel power ON/OFF switch.
*** Release [P+] button.
The child lock will now be disabled. Repeat the above steps to re-enable if required.
AUTO TUNING SHOULD BE AVOIDED.
TV TUNING.
- PRESS THE BUTTON ON THE FRONT PANEL THAT PRODUCES THE ON-SCREEN DISPLAY.
- PRESS [P-] BUTTON ON THE FRONT PANEL. PRESSING THIS BUTTON WILL SELECT MANUAL TUNING.
- PRESS AND HOLD [+] OR [-] TO SEARCH UP OR DOWN.WHEN A SIGNAL IS FOUND, RELEASE THE BUTTON. IF THIS IS NOT THE STATION REQUIRED, CONTINUE HOLDING.
- PRSS THE KEY TO TOGGLE (AFC) [ON/OFF], SO THAT [AFT] IS ON.
- USE [+] OR [-] KEY TO FINE TUNE.
- PRESS [X] TO RETURN TO MANUAL TV TUNING.
- PRESS [P+] OR [P-] TO SELECT THE PROGRAM NUMBER REQUIRED TO BE STORED.
- PRESS THE [STORE] KEY.
- PRESS [X] KEY TWICE TO RETURN TO NORMAL OPERATION.
