You must have an RS-232 connection cable and computer to proceed.
1. Power OFF the set by its front panel power ON/OFF switch.
2. Connect the serial port of the control device, to RS-232 jack on the PDPs' back panel.
3. Power ON the set by its front panel power switch. The power indicator on its front panel sill now display re, means that the set is now in standby mode.
4. Copy the software [flash upgrader], to the computer.
5. Open the software [flash upgrader.exe].
6. Point 'Flash' on the interface of the Flash Upgrader.exe.
7. Press 'Standby' button on the front panel of the TV, or 'Power' button on the remote control. The power indicator change green, and the PDF is on Power On mode. The software start upgrader immediately.
8 Wait till upgrade finishes. When it has been finished the PDP will auto power ON.
9. After the 'upgrader' is finished, switch OFF the set by its front panel power switch; take out connection cable, only after power indicator has shut down completely.
