SONY KV29LS30 - HOW TO ENTER SERVICE MODE TO SONY FD TRINITRON [KV-29LS30E _ KV-29LS30K _ KV-29LS30U _ KV-29LS35B _ KV-29LS35E & KV-29LS35K]


Remote control to these sets are [RM-887 & RM-932]
The identification of errors within the [FE-2] chasis is triggered in one of two ways.  [1] Busy. [2] Device failure to respond to IIC.  In the event of one of these situation arises, the software will first try to release if the bus is busy, and then communicate with each devices in turn to establish if a device is faulty.  If a device is not to be found faulty, the revalent device number will be displayed, with series of flashes of LED, which must be counted.  Each time the software detects an error it is stored within the NVM.

To enter into service mode to these sets,

* Turn on the Tv with its main ON/OFF switch at its front panel. [Standby Mode].
** Press the following buttons on the remote control in sequence. [ON SCREEN DISPLAY => DIGIT-5 => VOLUME --ve => TV].

To clear the error count data, press "80"on the remote control.
