There is a "hidden" key under the seal below digit "8" on the remote control. This key is used to enter the service mode to this set. Locate it, and press it once. The service mode window will displayed.
In this window, three options will be displayed.
1. Aging.
2. AFT OK
3. 1234H
The first display item, 'Aging' is used to stop the set from "Auto Shut Off", when there is no input siginal is applied to tv.
The second 'AFT OK', is used to display AFT Curve.
This may show either 'up' or 'down' or 'ok'
The third, '1234H', shos the total hours since the CRT was On. [In Hexadecimal]
To exit from the service mode, press the 'key' under the seal below digit "8", as indicated above once.
