Entering and adjusting the data values to SONY KV-F29MF1_KV-F29MH11_KV-F29MH31_KV-F29MN11_KV-F29MN31
Remote controls: RM-857 _ RM-858.
To enter the service mode, Press [ISPLAY][5] [VOL+] [POWER] in sequence.
The service manu display will be shown. In this display, [00] is item number, [RGB] is adjustment data, [08] is the data value, [SERVICE] indicates service mode, [50] depends on signal. (For PAL and SECAM the value will be 50, and for NTSC it will be 60)
SERVICE MODE KEYS
[1],[4] - Select the adjustment item.
[3],[6] - Raise or lower the data value.
[Mute] - select WRITE.
[0] - Execute writing.
[7],[0] - The data becomes the values in memory.
[8],[0] - User control goes to standard dtate.
[5],[0] - Service data initilization.
[2],[0] - Write 50Hz adjustment to 60Hz and vice versa.
SERVICE MODE ADJUSTMENT METHOD.
This explanation shows how to use the buttons on the remote to select an item, and change its data value. For example, select the item V-SHIFT (Vertical shift) is described here.
* Select item [24] V-Shift) [Use 1 & 4 buttons.
** Raise or lower the data value of this item by using 3 & 6 buttons.
*** Select the optimum value. [The standard value is 2E for PAL reception.
**** Write the adjusted value into memory by pressing [Mute] button. The display changes from (SERVICE) to Green WRITE.
***** Execute the Writing by press [0] button. The green WRITE display changes briefly to Red. this indicates that the selected value has been written to mamory. during Write operation, WRITE display changes briefly to Red, then it returns ot SERVICE.
Use the same method to adjust all other items, which need to be adjusted.
In WRITE the data of all items are written together into memory.
