TO ENTER SERVICE MODE-1
* In the main Menu, move and choose "Sound" Menu.
** Set "Bass" to Maximum and "Treble" to Minimum.
*** Press "INDEX" button on the remote control, and VOLUME --ve button on the front panel of the TV simoultaneously.
TO ENTER SERVICE MODE-2
Select "TEXT" clamp level.
Set the Channel to Channel 99.
Press 'Hold" button on the remote control.
Key Command.
* Press RED/GREEN buttons to select an item to adjust.
** Press YEKKOW/BLUE buttons, to adjust the data value to selected item.
*** Press "OK" button, after each adjustment has been made to write the adjusted value into memory.
To Exit from service mode, Press [N], or "Power Button" on the remote control.

noise issue more specifically like something's jamming the sound
There must be no problem to set when you attempt to get into its service mode. The set should be in good working condition. Here you indcates some fault with its internal circuit board. Rectify this fault first. Make the set right, and try to get into service mode to adjust items in it. OK.
