- Disconnect the Power & remove the battery.
- Turn the laptop over, and remove all screws at the bottom.
- Remove the memory cover.
- Remove the screw underneath the memory cover.
- Remove the DVD drive.
- Remove three black screws underneath the DVD drive.
- Remove three screws under the battery cover.
- Remove the keyboard using a letter opener to press in five plastic tabs at the bottom of the keys to release the keyboard.
- Remove keyboard flat cable by sliding and lifting up on the back part of the white connector.
- Remove the keyboard.
- Remove mouse touch-pad flat cable by lifting up its lock on the black part of the connector. Pull the blue tab to release the cable.
- Use the blade of a letter opener to open the plastic cover.
- Remove the two screws that fixes the hard disk case to motherbaord.
- Slide out the enclosed hard disk
- Remove the 4 screws from the side of the hard disk.
- Partition the hard disk and load OS.
