- Find a big paper clip, straighten it and mark at 3 cm from the tip as shown here.
- Remove the stand assembly 155. There will be a small hole at the bottom of the cabinet. Put the straightened part of the clip into the hole until the mark reaches just above the surface of the cabinet. When the tip of the straightened paper clip touches the interlock inside, it will release the door. Press and hold the paper clip and pull out the door gently in the direction as shown.
REPLACEMENT OF DEFECTIVE LOADER
- Dismantling of the loader to access the ESD protection point if necessary.
- Solder the ESD protection point.
- Disconnect flex foil cable from the defective loader.
- Put a paper clip on the flex foil to short-circuit the contacts.
- Replace the defective loader with a new loader.
- Remove paperclip from the flex foil and connect it to the new loader.
- Remove solder joint on the ESD protection point.
The laser diode of this loader is protected against ESD by a
solder joint, which short-circuits the laser diode to ground.
For proper functionality of the loader this solder joint
must be remove after connection loader to the set.
- ESD protection point is accessible from top of loader.
