- Turn the power off.
- To enter the service mode, while pressing [MENU] button, press [STANDBY-ON] button on the TV unit. [ To cancel the service mode, press STANDBY-ON button on the remote control.]
- Press [i] button on the remote control unit to initialize the LCD television.
- Confirm "FF" indication on the upper left of the screen.

PURITY CHECK
This mode cycles through full-screen displays of red, green,
blue, and white to check for non-active pixels.- Enter the Service mode.
- Each time pressing [7] button on the remote control unit, the display changes as follows:
FLICKER ADJUSTMENT
This adjustment is required when repairing T-CON CBA.- Operate the unit for more than 20 minutes.
- Set the colour analyser and bring the optical receptor to the centre on the LCD-Panel surface after zero point calibration as shown below. [Note: The optical receptor must be set perpendicularly to the LCD Panel surface.]
- Enter the Service mode.
- Press [2] button on the remote control unit.
- Press [P ▲or ▼] buttons on the remote control unit so that the colour analyser value becomes minimum.
AUTO CALIBRATION
To bring the colour adjustment of each component into
standard alignment.
Symptom of Misadjustment: If this adjustment is incorrect,
component signals do not reproduce the corresponding colour.
- Input the 100% White Purity (1080i /59.94 (30sF)).
- Enter the service mode.
- To enter the Auto Calibration adjustment mode, press [6] button on the remote control unit.
- To start auto adjustment, press [VOL ▲] button on the remote control unit.
