TO ENTER SERVICE MODE
- Simultaneously press "Muting" & "Recall" keys on the remote control unit to display Service Mode screen.
- To call an item to adjust, use [Prog + / Prog-] button on the remote contorl.
- To adjust the data value to selected item, use [ < / >] key on the remote control.
- Tie "Exit' service mode, turn the Power switch OFF.

TO MAKE A JIG REMOTE CONTROL
- First set up JIG remote control unit. [Use PTU94023BJIG remote control unit]
- To setup it to a JIG remote control unit,
- Remove the battery cover.
- Simultaneously press digit buttons (4,5 & 6) keys, while insert the battery. When "43.00" appears on the display window, setup is complete.
- To enter custom code, use [<+ / ->] key.
- To enter data code to input , use [<+ / ->] key, or directly input data code with " '0' to 'F' keys.
- Press the 'Transfer' key to transfer data.
MEMORY IC REPLACEMENT
- Replace the memory IC.
- Turn on the Power by the front panel Power Switch. TV will go to 'Standby'.
- Enter custom code [14] and Data code (15) by the JIG remote control. Enter the 'Transfer' key.
- Enter custom code [14] and Data code (74), and enter 'Transfer' key. When entering Service Mode "Service" or "SVC v1" will appear on the top left corner of the screen.
- Enter custom code [14] and Data code (22), and enter the 'Transfer' key. "Remocon" menu {lower right corner} changes from 'DW' to "JVC", so that the remote control code will be set to 'JVC'. If the 'Remocon' menu sets 'DW' or 'AIWA' the TV will set other codes. So it must be "JVC".
- Enter the custom code [14] and Data code (22) and then enter the 'Transfer' key. TV power will shut down.
- JVC remote control unit will work when finish all above procedures. ## When shuts off TV on AIWA status, TV will never work on JVC mode. In this case, it must be exchange the memory IC again.
