TO ENTER SERVICE MODE
  • Press 'Information' key and 'Muting' key together to enter service mode.
  • In service mode menu, press [1] key to display the Adjustement Mode screen.
  • To "Exit" service mode, press "Menu" button on the remote control.

  • Before entering the service mode, press 'Mode' key ot confirm that "TV" position is indicated.  If it is wrong position, the service mode operation cannot be performed.
  • When number key other than [1] key is pressed in the service mode screen. the other relevant screen will be displayed.
  • This is not used in the adjustment procedure.  Press the "Menu" key to return to the "Service Mode" screen.
ADJUSTMENT PREPARATION
  • There are two ways of adjusting this TV:  One is with the remote control unit, and the other is with the conventional method using adjustment parts and components.
  • The adjustment with remote control unit is made on the basis of initial setting values.  The setting values which adjust the screen to optimum condition can be different from initial setting values.  
  • Make sure that the connection is correctly made AC to AC power source.  
  • Turn ON the power of the TV and measuring instruments for warming up at least 30 minutes before starting adjustments.
  • If the receive or input signal is not specified, use the most appropriate signal for adjustment.
  • Never touch other parts not shown in the adjustment items of the service adjustment.
PRESET SETTING BEFORE ADJUSTMENT
Unless otherwise specified in the adjustment items, preset the following functions with the remote control unit.

HOW TO ENTER SELF-CHECK MODE
  1. Press the "Information" key and "Muting" key simultaneously to enter service mode.
  2. Press [2] key by the remote control
  3. Press "Red" key to enter page-2 of the 'Self Check Mode'.
  4. Use "Green" key to toggle between page-1 & Page-2.
TO EXIT SELF CHECK MODE
  • To save failure history:  Turn OFF the Power by unplugging AC power cord plug when in self check display mode.
  • To clear [Reset] failure history:  Turn Off the power by pressing the "Power" key on the remote control when in the self check display mode.
  • Failure history can be count up to [9] times for each item.  When the number exceeds [9], the display will remain [9].  Failure history will be stored in the memory unless it has been deleted.

RESET: OK => Switch the display/non-display with the [ZOOM] key.
131070 => The operating time is displayed.
MAX => Max is displayed, when the maximum count time is ezceeded.
  • As LCD panel operating time is written into memory every [2] hours, actual operating time is twice the time of the screen display.
  • When the power is turned Off with remote control unit or by the power button of the main unit, the count restart from the turn off time. 
  • When the power is turned off by disconnecting the power cord from the AC outlet, the recorded time count less than [2] hours is not counted.
  • When the operating time exceeds the maximum count time "MAX" is displayed to the right of the counted time, and the following count is discontinued.
