TO ENTER SERVICE MODE
- Press and hold the 'Left Mode Select' button until the 'VCR' & 'DVD' LED flash.
- Press [9>9>9>9>9]. The TV LED should light. The remote commander is now set Service Mode.
- To return the remote commander to normal operation mode, repeat step [1], and then press [0>0>0>0>0]. The TV LED should light. The remote commander is now set to Normal Mode.
SETTING TV INTO SERVICE MODE
- Program the remote commander for operation in Service Mode as described above.
- Turn On the TV main power switch.
- Press "aux/video" standby button on the remote control twice.
- "TT" will appear at the upper right corner of the screen. Other status information will alos be displayed.
- Press "Menu' on the remote control. The following screen will be displayed.

- Move the corresponding adjustment item using the "Up / Dn" arrow buttons on the remote control.
- Press "Right Arrow" button to enter into the required menu item.
- Press "aux/video" button on the remote control to [Quit] the service mode, when all adjustments have been completed.
Note: After carrying out the service adjustments, to prevent the customer accessing the 'Service Menu', switch the TV set OFF and then ON.
WHITE BALANCE ADJUSTMENT: TV MODE
- Input an all-white signal from the pattern generator.
- Program the remote control for operation in Service Mode, as described above.
- Enter into 'Service Mode" by pressing 'aux/video' button twice, and 'Menu' on the service commander.
- Select 'Service" from the on-screen menu display, and press "Right Arrow".
- The 'Service Menu' will appear.
- Select 'Picture' from the on-screen menu, and press 'Right arrow'.
- Select "Picture settings" from the on-screen menu and press "Right arrow and set the "Contrast_Max" to 'MAX".
- Select "White Balance"from the on-screen menu and press 'Right Arrow".
- The White Balance menu will appear on the screen.
- Set the 'Normal_PAL_RD' to 465.
- Adjust the 'Normal _PAL_GD' and 'Normal _PAL_BD' so that the White Balance becomes optimum.
- Select 'Picture settings" from the on-screen menu and press 'Right Arrow' and set the 'Contrast' to MIN.
- Select the 'Normal_PAL_RC' to 121.
- Adjust the 'Normal_PAL_GC' and 'Normal _PAL_BC' with 'Left and Right' buttons on the remote control, so that the white balance become optimum.
- Press "OK" button to write the Data for each item.
