PANASONIC TC26LX20 TC32LX20 TC22LR30 DVD Section Troubleshooting

THE UNIT DOES NOT PLAY VIDEO FROM DISC
Check to see whether there is an output signal on the TV screen.
If not good;  there is a problem in the TV circuit.

If there is signal on the TV screen, check the power supply to the DVD RAM drive.  Pin-1 should be [5V] &Pin-4 [12V] on connector PAP7 on the 'AP' board.
If not good, Perform a secondary power supply check.
If the voltages are there as stated above, check connector P7402 on the 'RD' board.  Chroma out pin-18, Luminance out pin-22, G/Y out pin-26, P/PB out pin-34 & R/PR out pin-3-.
If found not good, the DVD M8 Digital Board or DVD RAM drive is defective.
If all stated above are OK, check connector PA12 on the 'A' board for Vodeo.
Pin-1 = Y-In.
Pin-3 = C-In.
Pin-5 = PY-in.
Pin-7 = PB-in.
Pin-9 = PR-in.  If found not good, the DVD board is most likely defective.  Check the video interface IC {IC3001} and surrounding circuitry.
If OK, the 'A' board is defective.  Check the video switch IC {IC3101} and surrounding circuits.
Is there an output signal to speaker terminals? If yes, check the power supply to the DVD RAM drive.  Pin-1 [5V], Pin-4 [12V] on connector PAP7 located on the 'AP' board.
If found not good, there is a problem in the TV circuit.
If found good, check connector P7402 on the 'RD' board.  Pin-58: R-Out, Pin-62: L-Out.
If found not good, perform Primary Power supply check.
If Ok, check PA10 on circuit board 'A': Pin-5 = L In, Pin-7 = R In.
If found not good, Circuit board M8 or DVD RAM is defective.
If good, circuit board 'A' is defective.  Check IC3101 and the surrounding circuits.
If not good, check IC4001 and surrounding circuit.
