TO ENTER SERVICE MODE
- Turn the set ON and put it to Standby. [Press power button on the remote control to make it standby, after switch the Set On by its front panel Power Switch.]
- Press the "OSD" button. [On Screen Display button].
- Press digit '5' by the remote control.
- Press [Volume +] button on the remote control.
- Press "TV" button on the remote control.
- Press "Menu" button on the remote control to call up the 'test screen'.
- Use 'Joystick' on the remote control to navigate the service menu. [<]&[>]; [Up or Dn].
- Press (>) joystick to enter the selected item.
- Turn Off Power to Store and Exit service mode.
Test-2 mode allows entry to "TT' numbers to perform some functions.
The important functions to these sets are:
- TT-0 => Switch the TT mode Off.
- TT-08 => To set the TV to shipping condition.
- TT-24 => To set the TV to 'UK' model [PAL I]
- TT-44 => To set all favourite pages to 100.
- To re-initialize the NVRAM.
- Set the TV to CH-59.
- Select "TT-49".
- Switch OFF the Main Supply and wait for two minutes, and switch it back ON again.
- Select '59' and enter the service mode.
- Select "TT-24" [UK]
- Select "TT-42"[Reset].
- Switch the set "OFF" by AC mains Power ON/OFF switch, and wait for two minutes and switch it ON again.
- Auto-tune channels and carry out a complete adjustment on the set.
