Set Contrast and Brightness to minimum.
Check point: Cathode of [D202], against secondary ground. Set with [R202] the measured voltage to {+145 +/- 0.5V}
AGC VOLTAGE ALIGNMENT
- In range III [channel-8] feed in a PAL B/G test pattern without sound carrier and with an antenna input level of 65dBuV at 75 Ohms. At tuner pin-1 [AGC] and pin-3 [Gnd], connect a voltmeter and set in Service Mode following voltage:
- Tuner Selteka [KS-H-132] 2.3VDC.
- Tuner Temic [6002 PH5] 3.15VDC.
- Tuner Philips [UV 1316-SIG-3] 2.10VDC.
TO ENTER SERVICE MODE
Before activating Service Mode set suited test pattern. Set medium brightness, color, contrast and sharpness, noise and picture mode.
A standard 4:3 test pattern is necessary for geometry adjustment. The chassis for 16:9 requires a 4:3 test pattern covering the entire area to be set in the decoder mode, thus creating a horizontal extension [horizontal ellipses].
Go to Service Mode
- Press the buttons [Mute => red => TV} on the remote control, one after another in sequence.
- Use 'red' button to select menu line of digit.
- Use 'Up' or 'Dn' button to select further parameters.
- Press 'Vol Up or Vol Dn' buttons to change the parameters.
- Press "OK" button to store the changes into memory.
- Press "TV' button to EXIT service mode.
CHILD LOCK CODE GLOBAL [ON | OFF]
OFF: During the search operation all channels are not 'prepared' for a possible activation of the child proof lock and have to be individually set.
ON: During the search operation all channels are 'prepared' for a possible activation of the childproof lock.
CHILD LOCK CODE RESET
ON: To deactivate the childproof lock , set to 'On'. After switching On the mains switch again, the childproof lock is switched off.
NVM addr. 0 0 0 0 Data 0 0
- Press the 'red' button on the remote control to select the various setting positions of the NVM address and press the volume buttons to ( > ) | ( < ) to change them. The complete address is a four digit figure and the corresponding data is a two digit figure. A chang of data from a complete address must be stored by pressing the button "OK".
- ATTENTION: Changing other addresses may cause fault in the set.
