- LCD monitor could have "No Video" symptom at 'DVI' signal connection.
Root Cause:
- Compactability problem with Windows XP OS and nVIDEA Video Card [Not monitor defect].
- nVIDEA Video Chip generates abnormal sync at Windows XP OS very randomly.
- This abnormal signal could change EDID data of monitor. [Writing sync].
- In this case, PC cannot recognize monitor, so cut video signal. [No Video Symptom]
Solution:
- Input Digital DDC data and upgrade Video Card Driver after download nVIDEA website as below process.
*Service Center: DDC input => Customer: Driver upgrade.
*Driver download process.
- Visit "www.nvidea.com' site.
- Click the "download drivers" menu on the upper screen menu bar.
- "Download steps" screen will be open.
- Choose 'Graphic Driver" on step-1.
- Choose "GeForce and TNT 2" for GeForce and TNT 2 chip type graphic card users. <Almost user for nvidia uses GeForce and NT 2 chip type graphic Card> Choose "Qudro" for Qudro chip type Graphic Card users.
- Choose the correct Windows OS which customer use on step-3. The click 'Go' button which is located on lower end screen.
- Click "Primary Download Site" in download page.
- 'Licence fro customer ..." will be open and then click "Accept" button which is located on lower end of the screen.
- Click 'Save' button one "File download" window then file downloading is proceed.
