- Sounds change dependant upon Picture Content. Usually an all white picture will produce the sounds. After the unit warms up, the sound my disappear or diminish.
- Some mechanical Sound coming from the Plasma unit is normal.
- However, another possibility is that some of the screws holding the Panel to the internal Metal Frame may be loose. Please check the torque of these screws for proper seating and security
ARCHING SOUND FROM PANEL
- A buzzing sound might be heard when the plasma display monitor is turned on in a very quiet room. This is due to the plasma panel drive circuit when it is functioning. This arching sound is normal and it is not a malfunction.
SWIVEL DOES NOT SHOW UP ON CUSTOMER'S MENU
- If the connector from the Plasma Unit to the Swivel Base is connected incorrectly, the Customer's Menu will not show "Swivel" and there will be no control over the Swivel base. Check the Connector.
- Picture show the Correct condition of the Connector from the Plasma Unit to the Swivel Base. Make sure the ribbon connector is connected with the ribbon on the right hand side as viewed from the Rear. This is the Correct condition of the Connector.
- This is the correct condition of the Connector at the Swivel Base.
