HP PL4260N _ PL5060N _ DISASSEMBLE PROCEDURE




CHECK AFTER SERVICE

  • If panel module or PSU Board is replaced, make sure the power jumper is set at 30V.


  • Make sure all the mechanical parts such as screws are replaced properly.
  • Verify that the peripherals of the serviced points have not undergone any deterioration during servicing.
  • Verify that the screws, parts, and cables that are removed for servicing have all been returned to their proper locations per the original setup.
  • Check the software version.
  • Check whether or not the TV works properly from each source.
  • NO EXTRA ADJUSTMENT SETTINGS NEEDED
REMOVING SPEAKER SET
  • To remove the left and right speaker set, loosen eight screws, as shown in the following picture.


REMOVING THE TV PEDESTAL
  • Carefully place the TV with the glass screen facing downward on a padded, stable table.
  • Position the bottom of the TV near the edge of the table.
  • Loosen the four screws.
  • Slide the pedestal off the TV base posts.
REMOVING THE SMALL BACK COVER
  • Loosen the 14 screws around the small back cover in the center of the larger back cover, and then remove it.

REMOVING THE I/OUT PANEL
  • Loosen 7 screws on the I/O panel.
REMOVING THE MAIN BOARD AND THE TUNER & AUDIO BOARD
  • Loosen the four screws on the Main Board and four screws on the Tuner and Audio Board.

  • Pull out the Main Board and Tuner and Audio Board together with both hands.

SEPARATING THE MAIN BOARD  AND THE TUNER & AUDIO BOARD




REMOVING THE SPEAKER CONNECTOR BOARD
  • Loosen the four screws and pull out the left and right Speaker Connector Board.
REMOVING THE BACK HANDLES AND BACK COVER
  • Loosen the four screws on the handles, and then pull the handles backward.
  • Loosen the screws (28 for PL4260N, 36 for PL5060N) on the large back cover, and then remove it.


REMOVING THE BRIDGE OF SIGNAL BOARD, SIGNAL BOARD SUPPORT AND I/O BOARD
  • After removing the eight screws, remove the bridge of the signal board, the signal board support, and the I/O Board.

REMOVING THE IR BOARD AND KEY BOARD
  • Loosen the two screws on LED and IR Board and the two screws on the Keypad Board.
  • Remove the LED and IR Board and the Keypad Board.
