RCA TVs _ GENERAL PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS _ TV WORKING BUT NO COLOR_ CAN'T SELECT CERTAIN CHANNELS

TV WORKS, SOUND OK, PICTURE OK, BUT NO COLOR

There are a couple of things you can check in terms of color to picture:
Be sure the program is being broadcast in color.  Try changing channel to see if the color is correct on other channels.

  • Try adjusting the picture quality settings.

  • Press Menu on the remote control.
  • Press the Arrow buttons to select the Picture Quality menu.
  • Select Picture Controls.  Here you can adjust the brightness, color, contrast, tint and sharpness of the picture.
  • Adjusting the picture quality on some RCA TVs is done slightly differently.
  • Press Menu button and then use Ch+/- buttons to select the video menu.  Use the Vol +/- buttons to change the individual settings;

 OR

  • Press Menu repeatedly to select the Adjacent menu.   Then press 'Channel' to highlight the picture item you want to adjust using Vol +/- to adjust each item.
