SOFTWARE UPDATE
Special type RS232 cable is used for software updating. This RS232 cable includes, a 3.5mm Stero Earphone plug and three wires
- Install GPROBE5.0
- Copy 'GM1601FW file document to "C:\".
- Copy three files of GF to chpdb file document.
- Use "batch C:\gm1601fw\ISP\batch\FlashRom_7.txt" command
- Connect 9 pin D-Sub female end to the computer, and connect the stereo earphone plug end to RS232 terminal on the back of the PDP.
- Run the application GPROBE5.0, the input command "batch c:\gm\1601fw\ISP\batch\FlashRom_7.txt".
- Turn on the PDP, and the updating process begins.
- When the updating finishes, it will display successfully
- Turn OFF the TV, and turn it ON again.
