HITACHI 43F300DP25K 53F300DP25H SERVICE MODE

REMOTE CONTROLS :  CLU-4321UG:  CLU-4324UG

  • For many adjustments, it is necessary to have an HDTV [1080i or 720P], signal generator, SDTV [480P] signal generator, as well as the usual NTSC [480i] signal generator.  A few companies offer HDTV or SDTV signal generators and that cost of these generators is sometimes prohibitive.  For this reason, it is suggested to use a set-top-box for HDTV and SDTV adjustments.
SERVICE MODE ENTRY
  1. Press and Hold 'Input' key on the front control panel of the TV and then press 'Power' key on the control panel to access I2C adjustment mode.
  2. Receive signal on main picture [NTSC, SDTV or HDTV].  Some menu pages have I2C adjustments for HDTV and SDTV.  The set will automatically allow to set these items only when a SDTV or HDTV signals is input to the 'Component' jacks.
  3. Check OSD, using cursor 'Up / Dn' buttons on the remote control.  [Others are fixed data, so never attempt to change them]
  4. Press 'Exit' key to exit I2C Adjust mode.

  • If the TV I2C is different from the I2C parameters (pages 29 to 32) for fixed data.
  • When exchanging microprocessor or EEPROM and TV is tuned on for the first time, it requires initialization of Memory Initial of I2C adjustment.
  • Use 'Factory Reset' to set TV to out of factory shipping conditions.  Do not use 'memory Initialize.
