TO ENTER ADJUSTMENT MODE
- Using the front control buttons with the set turned Off [Standby mode], can activate it.
- Press 'Sub Power' button, 'Input Select' button, and 'Dn' button at the same time, and Hold for more than 5 seconds.
- The set turns on adjustment mode with OSD.
CHANGING THE DATA AND SELECTING ADJUSTMENT CODE
- When the set is in adjustment mode, the cursor 'Left, right, Up, Dn' and 'OK' buttons of the remote control or at the front panel can be used as adjustment keys.
- Up / Dn buttons are used to select an item to adjust.
- Left / Right buttons are used to adjust the data value to selected item.
- 'OK' button is used to confirming the data.
- After finished the necessary adjustments, press 'Menu' button. Adjustment mode is released and the set returns to normal condition.
MEMORY INITIALIZE OPERATION
The execution of this function returns the adjustment codes to the preset values. All adjustment data will be lost.
- Enter adjustment mode.
- Select 'Memory Init' adjustment code [658] and change the data value from '0' to '1'.
- Activate 'Memory Init' by pressing 'OK' button.
- Select No. 525, and change the data value from '1' to '0'.
- Check that the receiving channels goes to P1. Unit is set to preset values.
TO GET TO BURN-IN MODE
This mode displays test patterns of some single color raster in turn. These signals are from built in generator of the PDP panel. So in can be presumed that may be the panel has some trouble when the screen of Burn-In mode is abnormal.
- Using the front control buttons with the set turned Off [standby], can activate this mode.
- Press the 'Sub Power, Input Select and Volume Dn button at the same time and hold for more than 5 seconds.
- The set turns On with single raster and the OSD of [BURN IN:ON]
- To escape from this mode, press 'Sub Power, Input Select and 'Up' button at the same time, and hold for more than 5 seconds. Burn-In mode will be released.
TO RECOVER THE REMOTE AND FRONT KEY FUNCTION
- If the remote and front key cannot operate after miss set special function by front keys, these function can be recovered.
- Press 'Sub Power, Input Select and 'Dn' button at the same time and Hold for more than 5 seconds.
- The set turns On the Service Menu mode.
- Select No.536 then each data set from '0' to '1'.
- OR
- Press the 'Sub-Power and 'Dn' button at the same time and Hold for more than 5 seconds.
TO CHECK METHOD OF USE ACCUMULATION TIME FOR PANEL
- Select No.518 of the Service Menu.
SIGNAL CIRCUIT SELF DIAGNOSIS FUNCTION
- This function is for the failure of the signal circuits, for example, as phenomenon as below:
- 'Sometimes power turns Off automatically'. 'Sometimes Picture turns Off automatically'.
- To enter this self-diagnosis mode,
- The power cord should be connected to AC line and main power switch should be turned On.
- Turn the power Off by 'Sub power' button of the monitor or the remote control.
- Press 'Sub Power and 'Up' button on the bottom of the monitor at the same time, and keep them pressed for more than 5 seconds, after the power turned On.
- The monitor will be turned On, and it will display On-Screen display of Self-Check result and the failure history.
- Any operation would cancel the self-diagnosis mode.
