TROUBLES CAUSED BY BOARDS.
- Trouble at the Upper or Lower half => SU | SD board.
- Horizontal line (upper or Lower side) => SU | SD baord or PDP panel.
- Trouble at Left | Center | Right part (42": Left or Right half) => C1-C3 baord.
- Vertical line (Width is same as FPC) => C | A boards or PDP panel.
- Vertical line (Width is narrower than FPC) => PDP Panel.
- Regularly bar (vertical) => A Board.
TEST PATTERN
- Test pattern is helpful to find the defective parts. If we can see the picture problem all over the screen (Picture Noise, Full Vertical Line, Abnormal color), can find signal processing problem or panel phosphor problem by using test pattern.
TO ENTER TEST PATTERN (To enter Service Mode)
- Press the [Volume -ve] button on the TV set, and press 'Info" button on the remote control [3] times at same time.
- The service mode window will appear.
- In this mode, select "Aging.
- Test pattern will appear.
- Press [3] button on the remote control to select the Test pattern Mode to Forward.
- Press [4] button on the remote control to select the Test pattern Mode to Reverse.
