ENTER SERVICE MODE
- Press "Power" & "Video" buttons immediately (withing 2 seconds), to enter the service mode.
- Press 'SM" to change an adjustment page.
- Press [CH+] / [CH-] to point the cursor to desired items to select.
- Use [Vol+ / [Vol-] buttons to adjust the data value to selected items.
- To 'Exit' service mode, press "Menu" button.
FIRMWARE UPDATE
- Open the compressed file to obtain the "LoadDriver", running the "IAPWriter.exe" and soon it will enter into IAP program.
- Enter into 'IAP' state (automatic software update)
- To enter 'IAP' there are two methods. The first one is: Press constantly the [Vol-ve] button and Turn ON. The second is: Enter into factory mode, as stated above, to select the 'IAP" item, and press "Enter" button.
- Connect the [IICtools] of compute with upgrading interface of TV.
- Running "IAPWriter" to enter into the upgrading state. If there are failure between the computer and TVs IIC communication, the indication that can't enter into the next step will appear. If so, need to check the writing at this moment.
- After selecting 'files' menu, and obtaining the software which is requires upgraded, selecting the "Device" menu: 'Write -> Device", until the indication of success appears at the bottom of left corner, turn OFF the Power, unplug the tool, and turn ON the TV again.
- NB: The upgrading process may be appear unstable, because of upgrading software, but the software can download and write again automatically. If download and write repeats many times. Turn OFF the TV and enter into IAP again, and upgrade again.
