How to enter Service Mode to Hisense LCD TV
- Open the 'Main Menu' by pressing the 'Menu' button on the remote control.
- Choose 'Audio Settings' with Ch Up / Ch Dn buttons.
- Choose the 'Balance' with "Vol Up / Vol Dn buttons.
- In this condition, press {0=>5=>3=>2} to enter service mode.
Option is there in the service mode window to EXIT from the service mode.
SOFTWARE UPDATE
Use I2C cable to update the software.
- Double click the "LPTDrv" folder and select a LPT driving software in the folder.
- When LPT setup is OK, open the System Manager and select LPT-1.
- Turn ON the TV, plug one end of the serial cable to LPT port of PC and the other end to "I2C" port of the TV. Double click the file'vct49xyi' folder.
- Click the "TVT' button on the bottom of the window.
- Double click the "F:\\mints.bin"
- After clicking the TVT button, a DOS interface will come up. If the word following "..." is "OK", it shows that the communication between the TV and PC are OK. If not, need to check the connect of [I2C.]
- After DOS interface is disappeared, click the "Bootloader Version" button.
- It ought to shows "22" without red words such as "No Acknowledge ". Wait for about 30 seconds after clicking the 'Erase 16bit Flash" button. If the red words such as discibed above do not appear after updating progress, that the software updating is OK.
