DURABRAND DBTV 2501 SERIES TVs
- To enter the service mode, Press Both Set key and Remote key for more than one second.
- Vol-Min => remote key [0] => Releasing of V-Chip Password.
- Vol Min => remote key [6] => Initialization of Factory. [do not use this for normal servicing]
- Vol Min => remote key [8] => power On Total Hours will be displayed. Can be checked of initial data of Memory IC.
- Vol Min => remote key [9] => display of adjustment menu on screen.
CONFIRMATION OF USING HOURS
- Set the Volume to Minimum.
- Press both 'Volume Dn' button on the set, and channel button [6] on the remote control for mre than 1 second.
- After confirmation of using hours, turn Off Power.
DISPLAY
INIT 00 83 => INITIAL SETTING CONTENT OF MEMORY IC. [00=ADDRESS; 83=DATA]
CRT ON 0010 => POWER ON TOTAL HOURS. = { (16*16*16*thousands digit value) + (16*16* hundreds digit value) + ( 16* tens digit value) + ( ones digit value)}.
ADJUSTING METHODS
- Enter data set mode, by setting volume to 'Minimum'.
- Press both 'Vol Dn' button on the TV set, and 'Channel button [6] on the remote control for more than one second.
- 'Address' and 'Data' should appear.
- 'Addresses' is now selected should 'Blink'. Using the Set + or - ve keys on the remote step through the address until required address to be changed is reached.
- Press 'Enter' to select the data. When data is selected, it will 'blink'.
- Again step through data using Set +ve or _ve until required data value has been selected.
- Press 'enter' will take back to 'Addresses' for further selection if necessary.
- Repeat steps [3] to [6] until all data has been set.
- When satisfied correct data has been entered, turn Power Off to finish Data Input.
- The unit will now have the correct data for the new Memory IC.
