WHITE BALANCE AND LUMINANCE ADJUSTMENT
Use “ SC”
key and “ NEXT” key to modify x, y,
Y value and use “ID”
key to modify the TEXT description Following is the procedure to do
white-balance adjust.
SETTING COLOR TEMPERATURE
- MEM.CHANNEL 3 (7800 color): 7800 color temp. parameter is x = 302 ±30, y = 318 ±30, Y = 180 cd/m2 ,
- MEM.CHANNEL 4 (6500 color): 6500 color temp. parameter is x = 313±30, y = 329 ±30, Y =200 cd/m2
- MEM.CHANNEL 9 (9300 color): 9300 color temp. parameter is x = 283±30, y = 297 ±30, Y =170 cd/m2
- MEM.CHANNEL 10 (SRGB color): SRGB color temp. parameter is x = 313±30, y = 329 ±30, Y =180 cd/m2
BIAS ADJUSTMENT
- Set the Contrast to 50; Adjust the Brightness to 90.
GAIN ADJUSTMENT
Move cursor to “-F-” and press MENU key
[A] Adjust C2 (7800) color-temperature.
- Switch the Chroma-7120 to RGB-Mode (with press “MODE” button)
- Switch the MEM. Channel to Channel 3 (with up or down arrow on chroma 7120)
- The LCD-indicator on chroma 7120 will show x = 302 ±30, y = 318 ±30, Y =180 cd/m2
- Adjust the RED of color1 on factory window until chroma 7120 indicator reached the value R=100
- Adjust the GREEN of color1 on factory window until chroma 7120 indicator reached the value G=100
- Adjust the BLUE of color1 on factory window until chroma 7120 indicator reached the value B=100
- Repeat above procedure (item 4,5,6) until chroma 7120 RGB value meet the tolerance =100±5
[B] Adjust C1 (6500) color-temperature.
- Switch the chroma-7120 to RGB-Mode (with press “MODE” button)
- Switch the MEM.channel to Channel 4(with up or down arrow on chroma 7120)
- The LCD-indicator on chroma 7120 will show x = 313 ±30, y = 329 ±30, Y = 200 cd/m2
- Adjust the RED of color3 on factory window until chroma 7120 indicator reached the value R=100
- Adjust the GREEN of color3 on factory window until chroma 7120 indicator reached the value G=100
- Adjust the BLUE of color3 on factory window until chroma 7120 indicator reached the value B=100
- Repeat above procedure (item 4,5,6) until chroma 7120 RGB value meet the tolerance =100±5
[C] Adjust C1 (9300) color-temperature.
- Switch the chroma-7120 to RGB-Mode (with press “MODE” button)
- Switch the MEM.channel to Channel 4(with up or down arrow on chroma 7120)
- The LCD-indicator on chroma 7120 will show x = 283±30, y = 297 ±30, Y =170 cd/m2
- Adjust the RED of color3 on factory window until chroma 7120 indicator reached the value R=100
- Adjust the GREEN of color3 on factory window until chroma 7120 indicator reached the value G=100
- Adjust the BLUE of color3 on factory window until chroma 7120 indicator reached the value B=100
- Repeat above procedure (item 4,5,6) until chroma 7120 RGB value meet the tolerance =100±5
[D] Adjust C1 (SRGB) color-temperature.
- Switch the chroma-7120 to RGB-Mode (with press “MODE” button)
- Switch the MEM.channel to Channel 4(with up or down arrow on chroma 7120)
- The LCD-indicator on chroma 7120 will show x = 313±30, y = 329 ±30, Y =180 cd/m2
- Adjust the RED of color3 on factory window until chroma 7120 indicator reached the value R=100
- Adjust the GREEN of color3 on factory window until chroma 7120 indicator reached the value G=100
- Adjust the BLUE of color3 on factory window until chroma 7120 indicator reached the value B=100
- Repeat above procedure (item 4,5,6) until chroma 7120 RGB value meet the tolerance =100±5
[E] Turn the Power-button off to quit from factory mode.
ADJUSTING PICTURE
- Press the Menu (Power) button to activate the OSD window. Press left, right, up, down button to navigate through the functions. Once the desired function is highlighted, press the Menu (Power) button to activate sub-menu .
- In sub-menu, Press up, down button to navigate through the functions. Once the desired function is highlighted, press [ < / > ] button to change the setting. Press Menu (Power) button to return to superior menu.
- If you want to adjust any other function, repeat steps 1-2.
- To exit OSD windows, select “exit” icon on main OSD, then press the Menu (Power) button .
- OSD Lock Function: To lock the OSD, press and hold the Left button while the monitor is off and then press power button to turn the monitor on. To un-lock the OSD - press and hold the Left button while the monitor is off and then press power button to turn the monitor on.
- Eco Mode and DCR hot key : Press the Eco key continuously to select the Eco mode of brightness and DCR on when there is no OSD ( Eco mode hot key may not be available in all models).
- Contrast adjustment hot key : When there is no OSD , press Contrast [ < ] to active Contrast adjustment bar, press[ > | < ] to adjust Contrast.
- 4:3 or wide image ratio hot key: When there is no OSD, press [ > ] continuously to change 4:3 or wide image ratio. (If the product screen size is 4:3 or input signal resolution is wide format, the hot key is disalbe to adjust.)
- Source hot key : When the OSD is closed, press Auto/Source button will be Source hot key function (Only for the models with dual or more inputs) .Press Source button continuously to select the input source showed in the message bar , press Menu/Enter button to change to the source selected.
- Auto configure hot key: When the OSD is closed, press Auto/Source button continuously about 2 second to do auto configure.
- Press the Power button continuously about 2 second to turn off the monitor.
