EIKI - MULTIMEDIA PROJECTOR LCXG110 LCXG21- MJ7XG11000 MH7XG21000 OPTICAL ADJUSTMENTS



CONTRAST ADJUSTMENT
  • Before adjustment, input a 100% of Black Raster Signal.
R G B Contrast Adjustment
  1. Loosen the screw on the polarized glass mounting base which  intended to adjust.
  2. Turn the polarized glass mounting base to obtain the darkest brightness on the screen.
  3. Tighten the the screw to fix the polarized glass mounting base.
Condenser Lens Adjustment
  1. Turn the projector ON by a state of without FPC cables.  
  2. Adjust the adjustment base of condenser lens assembly to make color uniformity in white.  If the shading appears on the left or right of the screen, loosen two fixing screws with 2.0 mm hex driver, and adjust the slot to make color uniformity in white by using the slot screw driver.  If shading appears, on the top or bottom of the screen, loosen screws [2nos] with 2mm hex driver and adjust the slot to make color uniformity in white by using a slot screwdriver.  
  3. Tighten all screws to fix the condenser lens unit.  The relay lens adjustment must be carried out after this adjustment.
Relay Lens-Out Adjustment
  1. Turn On the projector by a state without FPC cables.  
  2. Adjust the relay lens by proceedings as above.
Mirror Adjustment.
  1. Turn ON the projector without FPC cables.
  2. Adjust the adjustment base of the mirror, such as there is no cyan bar appears on the top or bottom of the screen, and no shading appears on the left or right of the screen.  The work is a skilled one, and do not touch these original adjustments, if you do now know how to proceed.
MEMORY IC REPLACEMENT
     IC 808 on the main board stores the data for service adjustments.  It should not be replaced except for in the case of defective device.  If replaced, re-adjustments are required.  The data of Lamp replacement Counter is stored in this IC.  Note that, the Lamp Replacement Counter will be reset when memory IC is replaced.  Lamp Replace Counter cannot be set to the previous value.

     When IC 808 is replaced with new one,  the CPU writes down the default data of service adjustments to the replaced IC as mentioned on the service adjustments table.  As these data are not the same as factory shipped data, it should be required to perform the re-adjustments. 

     When the main board is replaced, IC808 should be should be replaced with the one on previous main board.  After replacement, it should be required to perform the re-adjustments.
