STANDBY LED BLINKS EIGHT TIMES.
Trouble Mode: SS energy Recovery SOS/Panel.
Defective Boards [possible]: SS, SC, D, P Boards.
Disconnect AC mains.
- Disconnect CN SS11 and SS23 from the SS board and CN P12 from the 'P' board. Turn On the Tv. Does the TV power up and stay On? If No;
- Turn On the TV. Is the Vsus input at pin number 1 of CN P11 present before shut down?
- If yes; 'D' board is faulty.
- If No; disconnect CN SC2 and SC20 from the SC board. Turn On the TV. does the TV power up and stay On?
- If yes; SC board is faulty.
- If No; P board is faulty.
- Go back to step 1
- If Yes; is the collector of Q251 or the anode of D255 on the 'SS' board high?
- If yes; 'SS' board is faulty.
- If No; panel defect.
9 BLINKS OF STANDBY LIGHT AT SWITCH ON
In this case, only 'D' board is defective. No further check needed.
